Learn about Laser Cleaning

What is laser cleaning/ablation?
A very standard concept of Ablation is “the removal or destruction of something from an object by vaporization, chipping, erosive processes, or by other means”. The most typical methods for blasting have included sand or chemicals in form of powder applied by pressure. Also the use of pressurized sprayed water has been used in open spaces.
But all these typical blasting ways, in fact create other problems that require additional attention. They produce hazards for the personnel, environment and machinery, as well as excessive time consumption on job-sites and clean up.
Sand, chemical powder and water blasting can also be expensive due to job preparations and clean up.
Mobile laser ablation uses a concentrated beam of light to vaporize contaminants. It consists of taking the necessary equipment to the site indicated by the client in order to apply ablation (Cleaning techniques) with laser technology. By using procedures at different frequencies and power levels, the cleaning results consists of removing unwanted layers of material, corrosion, erosion, etc.; and leaving the base material exposed and unharmed. It does not harm Substrate/Base Material.
